Black Ness Cottage, owned by Judy and Tony Bryant, is tucked away in the heart of the South Hams countryside, idyllically situated in a small hamlet only a mile from the pretty riverside village of Dittisham and midway between the lovely old towns of Totnes and Dartmouth .

The cottage (formerly a farm house) dates back to the 17th-century and is named after Black Ness Point, a rocky promontory on the River Dart. The house has been modernised to provide relaxed, welcoming and comfortable accommodation which includes two guest bedrooms.

There are about two acres of mature gardens surrounding the house with a large wildlife pond, many interesting and varied local walks and, within a short drive, the river Dart, the coast, Dartmoor and all that Devon has to offer.

Tony Bryant works as an artist from his studio in the grounds of Black Ness Cottage and his paintings can be seen in most rooms of the house. He is always happy to sell to the discerning buyer!
